While walking on the beach, we see people who sell boiled corn with their calls while walking on the street. It is not as difficult as you think to get this flavour that makes our mouth water. Well, let’s take a look at how we get this flavour.
First of all, we get a good quality corn that is not too hard and stands firm. Then we peel the husks without wasting time, but we do not throw them away. These shells will serve us as a napkin so that our hands do not burn and get dirty while eating the corn, and will add flavour to our boiled corn. After peeling our corn, we find a pot where it can fit and throw it into it, and we cut the excessively long corns in half. As you know, boiled corn is a time-consuming job, it may take a little longer to boil large corns. After throwing our corn into the pot, we sprinkle the shells that we peeled a little bit ago between them so that it will be delicious. Then we fill it with water so that it will exceed 2-3 fingers over the corn. To reinforce the flavour, we add a very small amount of sugar with the tip of a teaspoon, this will both flavour our corn and soften our corn. I do not recommend adding salt immediately because salt prolongs the boiling time of the corn. After doing Mu operations, we close the lid of our pot and put it on the fire. After about 1 hour, we take our boiled corn, which we cannot get enough of its flavour, from the pot and sprinkle salt on it by holding it with the help of its shell and eat it with pleasure.
